Simple Tips for better laundry results.
Washer Tips
Choose your settings before starting the washer.
To make a change, hold the power button for three seconds, adjust the dial, and restart. Do not change settings on the dial while the washer is operating.
Keep loads loose and balanced.
Load clothing loosely and evenly around the washer tub. For best results, fill the tub approximately one-half to three-quarters full.
Avoid overloading the washer.
Do not compress clothing or pack it tightly into the tub. Clothing needs room to move so water and detergent can circulate properly. Load heavier items first to help prevent shaking or “walking.”
Avoid very small loads when possible.
A load containing only one or two items can become unbalanced during the spin cycle.
Balance bulky items.
When washing a heavy or bulky item, such as a rug, add several lighter items to help distribute the weight evenly.
Dryer Tips
Give clothing room to tumble.
Avoid overloading the dryer. Clothing dries more effectively when it can move freely inside the drum.
Sort by weight.
Dry heavy items like towels and blankets separately from lightweight clothing so everything dries at the same time.
Untangle large items.
Shake out sheets, blankets, and other large items before placing them in the dryer. This helps prevent them from twisting together and trapping damp clothing inside.
Need to dry faster? Add a dry towel.
Toss a clean, dry towel into a wet load for the first 15 minutes to absorb extra moisture.
Clean the lint trap after every load.
Remove lint between every drying cycle. A clean lint trap improves airflow, helps clothing dry more efficiently, and reduces the risk of fire.

Experiencing a problem? Try the steps below before submitting a maintenance request. Many common washer and dryer issues can be resolved with a quick reset or a simple adjustment.
My washer will not turn on or drain.

Reset the washer:
Unplug the washer from the electrical outlet.
Wait at least 10 seconds.
Plug the washer back in.
Select the desired setting and try starting the washer again.
If the washer still will not turn on, drain, or complete its cycle, submit a SpinFresh support request.
My washer is shaking or moving.

Pause the cycle and check that the clothing is distributed evenly inside the tub. Very small loads, overloaded washers, and loads containing one heavy item can cause the washer to become unbalanced.
Remove or rearrange items as needed, then restart the cycle.
My dryer is running, but my clothes are not drying well.

Check the following:
Make sure you selected the appropriate drying cycle.
Clean the lint trap.
Confirm that the dryer is not overloaded.
Shake out tangled sheets, blankets, or other large items.
Allow clothing enough room to tumble freely.
If the dryer is heating but clothing still takes an unusually long time to dry, the vent running from the dryer through the wall and to the outside may need to be cleaned. Because this vent is part of the property, contact your property management or maintenance team for assistance.
