Furniture Options was created with a family and service-driven mentality in mind.
Our Founder, Bill Jackson, opened the rental furniture business in 1985, and it was a family affair from the beginning with his kids helping out from an early age. Now, 35 years later, with a team of over 150+ people in 12 locations throughout the Midwest it’s still about family, service, and you. The traditions, ethics, and SOUL of our business will never change. Our success comes from treating you right in every way, every time.

From the beginning, Bill knew he didn’t want Furniture Options to be your traditional “rent to own” type of furniture rental business. Our goal is to help people in transition, people on the move or amid change, people who need short-term furniture rental – and need it now. Plus, if we can make it a little fun along the way, all the better. With this goal in mind, our “rent to rent” temporary furniture rental business was born.
When you work with us, you’re working with an Owner.
In 2014, Bill turned the company over to his employees by creating an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Furniture Options is now run by a team of Employee Owners. When you call us up, the person on the phone is an owner. The sales team, buyers, in-house designers, managers…all owners. Our hard-working delivery guys…yep, OWNERS! At Furniture Options, we take our values, goals and employee ownership seriously. When you rent from us, we’ll do everything in our power to care for your every need and treat you like family.
